About Me
Hi, I’m Rebecca — a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with a passion for helping people overcome worry, anxiety, and the emotional roadblocks that hold them back.
I specialise in evidence-based CBT techniques that equip people with tools they can actually use in everyday life — whether it’s managing anxious thoughts, improving sleep, or breaking free from the cycle of self-doubt.
Over the past several years, I’ve worked with adults facing a wide range of difficulties including generalised anxiety, low mood, panic, and stress-related challenges. Alongside individual therapy, I also have several years’ experience running CBT-based courses and workshops — both in person and online — helping groups of people develop skills to improve their mental wellbeing in a structured, supportive way.
My approach is warm, practical, and grounded in the belief that lasting change happens one manageable step at a time.
Qualifications & Training
I hold a:
Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based CBT from the University of East Anglia
Postgraduate Certificate in Evidence-Based Psychological Practice from the University of Exeter
Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of York St. John
I’m also a registered provider with AXA Health and committed to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision.
My Philosophy
I believe that therapy and self-help should feel accessible, empowering, and evidence-based — not overwhelming or confusing. That’s why everything I offer, from one-to-one sessions to downloadable tools and self-guided courses, is designed to help you move forward with confidence and clarity.
Whether you're looking to manage daily worry, improve your sleep, or stop second-guessing yourself in social situations, I’m here to guide you, step by step, at your own pace — not with vague advice, but with tools that truly work.
